Connectivity:

The onCloud facility in Atlanta, Georgia features multiple 10G Ethernet connections to key communications centers and multiple on-net carriers, eliminating the single-point-of-failure risk scenarios. As you would expect, we’re carrier-neutral with easy cross-connects directly from our Atlanta facility to over 100 providers.

onCloud’s network infrastructure employs dark fiber ring technology with connectivity at 56 Marietta, the Southeast’s most connected network hub. This provides you with reliable network access and fast performance, around the clock monitoring, notification and reporting. We maintain multiple direct connections to several network service providers including Tier-1 carriers guaranteeing your users uninterrupted service and significant bandwidth volumes. Our network architecture eliminates virtually all points of failure or network congestion.

Below is the list of configuration that consists of:

  • 2 on-net carriers (XO & Level3), 2 carriers at 56 Marietta Street (nLayer, PCCW)
  • Route optimized across all carriers (measuring latency, packet loss, jitter)
  • Fiber ring to 56 Marietta Street supports up to 160 Gbps
  • 10 Gigabit connection to Dallas, TX from Atlanta, GA data center

Architecture:

onCloud’s virtualized infrastructure is deployed as multiple, highly secure clouds hosted in onCloud’s SAS 70/SSAE16 Type II compliant data center in Atlanta, GA. The infrastructure cloud includes the basic building blocks of a system service, including virtualized servers; Windows or Linux operating systems; SAN storage; redundant networking; built-in disaster recovery with geographically dispersed off-site backups; firewalls; and intruder detection systems. onCloud is created using enterprise grade technologies. We partner with leading providers in this industry including Microsoft, Citrix and DELL for software and hardware.
